How NightLuck Handles Your Data
A plain-English look at what we collect, why we collect it, and how card and crypto payment details are kept safe.
Privacy at NightLuck
Last updated: August 26, 2026
This page explains, in ordinary language, what happens to your information from the moment you register at NightLuck to the moment you place a bet or make a withdrawal.
What we collect and why
When you open an account with NightLuck we ask for the basics: your name, date of birth, email address and a password. This is standard for any online casino, since it lets us confirm you are 18 or over and lets us contact you about your account, deposits and any responsible-gaming alerts. We also log technical details automatically, such as your browser type, device, approximate location and the pages you visit on the site. None of this is unusual, but we think you should know it happens rather than finding it buried in small print.
If you make a deposit or request a withdrawal, we also process payment-related data: the last digits of a card, a bank reference, or a wallet address if you are paying with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether or Litecoin. Full card numbers and banking credentials are handled by our payment providers, not stored in full on our own servers.
Cookies and how the site remembers you
Cookies are small text files that let NightLuck recognise your browser between visits. We use them for a few practical jobs: keeping you logged in, remembering your language and currency preference, understanding which games and pages get used, and, where you have not opted out, showing you offers that are relevant rather than random.
- Essential cookies: needed for login, session security and basic site function. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.
- Preference cookies: remember display settings, GBP currency choice and language.
- Analytics cookies: anonymised data on how pages and games are used, so we can fix what is slow or confusing.
- Marketing cookies: used to tailor promotional messages. You can decline these through the cookie banner or your browser settings without losing account access.
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser. Doing so may log you out or reset saved preferences, but it will not affect your balance or account history.
Payment data security
Card payments through Visa and Mastercard, and bank transfers, are routed through payment processors that use industry-standard encryption in transit. We do not print or email full card numbers, and our support team will never ask you to send a full card number or password by chat or email.
Cryptocurrency payments work differently from card payments. When you deposit or withdraw in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether or Litecoin, the transaction itself is recorded on the relevant public blockchain, which is outside our control and outside any single company's ability to delete or alter. We store only the wallet address and transaction reference needed to match your deposit or payout to your account. If privacy on the blockchain itself matters to you, that is a feature of the currency you choose, not something we can adjust on our end.
| Method | What we store | Where security sits |
|---|---|---|
| Visa / Mastercard | Last 4 digits, transaction ID | Payment processor's encrypted systems |
| Bank Transfer | Account reference, transaction ID | Your bank and our banking partner |
| Bitcoin / Ethereum / Litecoin | Wallet address, transaction hash | Public blockchain ledger |
| Tether (USDT) | Wallet address, transaction hash | Public blockchain ledger |
Who can see your data
Access to player data inside NightLuck is limited to staff who need it to run support, payments, fraud checks and responsible-gaming monitoring. We share data with payment processors so they can move your money, and, where legally required, with fraud-prevention and anti-money-laundering services. We do not sell player data to third parties for their own marketing.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us at any time to see what data we hold on your account, correct anything inaccurate, or close your account. Closing your account does not necessarily delete transaction records immediately, since some payment and anti-fraud records need to be kept for a period to satisfy financial reporting obligations. Where deletion is possible, we will action it and confirm back to you.
Regulatory context for UK players
NightLuck operates outside the standard UK Gambling Commission licensing and self-exclusion framework, including GAMSTOP. That means UKGC-mandated data protections that apply to licensed UK operators do not automatically apply here, so we would rather be upfront about that than let you assume otherwise. If data protection or gambling safeguards are a priority for you, GamCare (0808 8020 133, https://www.gamcare.org.uk/) and BeGambleAware (https://www.begambleaware.org/) can offer independent advice, including on how to manage your data and play across sites generally.
